Installation

Requirements

  • PHP 8.1 or later
  • Laravel 8.83 through 13

Install with Composer

In your Laravel application, run:

composer require alphabalex/identity-made-easy

Laravel package discovery registers the service provider and the Identity facade alias automatically. Publish the configuration file so you can review or customize provider settings:

php artisan vendor:publish --tag=identity-made-easy-config

This creates config/identity-made-easy.php. Keep provider secrets in your server environment or secret manager, not in source control.

Resolve a driver

QoreID is selected by default:

use Alphabalex\IdentityMadeEasy\Facades\Identity;

$driver = Identity::driver();

Select a provider by name when needed:

$qoreid = Identity::driver('qoreid');
$mono = Identity::driver('mono');
$idenvault = Identity::driver('idenvault');

Verify installation

Run the consuming application's normal Laravel test suite after configuring provider credentials. Package tests can be run from a checkout with:

composer install
composer test

Tests use HTTP fakes for provider requests; no production provider calls are required.
